Beauty Qualification Levels
SIB20210 - Certificate II in Nail Technology designed as a standard entry level qualification for the Beauty industry. It applies to those wishing to develop the skills and knowledge to begin a career in the nail technology stream of the Beauty Industry.
Offered to learners as an entry qualification for the following;
- Trainees, employed in retail stores, beauty, hairdressing and nail salons.
- Introductory course for school leavers and adult learners wishing to enter the Beauty Industry.
- Suitable for retail workers wishing to increase their employment opportunities and enter the Beauty Industry.
Retail Hair and Beauty Outlets, Pharmacy, Reception in a beauty salon.
Offered to learners as an entry qualification for the following;
- Secondary school students as an introduction to Cosmetic Retail and Beauty Salon assistant and reception duties.
- Trainees, employed in retail stores and beauty salons.
- Introductory course for school leavers and adult learners wishing to enter the Beauty Industry.
- Suitable for retail workers wishing to increase their employment opportunities and enter the Beauty Industry.
SIB30110 - Certificate III in Beauty Services has been designed to develop the skills and knowledge of those employees who wish to be employed as a beauty practitioner in a salon with limited supervision, ensuring a safe-working environment, providing treatments, including lash and brow treatment and temporary epilation (waxing).
Offered to learners as an entry qualification for the following;
- Trainees, employed in retail stores and beauty salons.
- Entry level course for school leavers and adult learners wishing to enter the Beauty Industry.
- Suitable for retail workers, beauty salon receptionists wishing to increase their employment opportunities and enter the Beauty Industry.
- Secondary school students having completed Certificate II Cosmetic Retail Services and wishing to progress to providing beauty services within the Beauty Salon environment.

SIB40110 - Certificate IV in Beauty Services has been designed to develop the skills and knowledge of those employees who wish to be employed as a beauty practitioner in a salon with limited supervision, ensuring a safe-working environment, providing treatments, including lash and brow treatment and temporary epilation (waxing).
